A special thanks to Julian Clarke (Unhalfbricking) for all the work in organising yet another successful convic.

Attendances probably a bit down with the combined impact of AussieCon 4 and Fathers Day combined, though still a great time had by all.

Hear hear!

Unfortunately I also had other things to do that weekend, so I only got to play 6.5 games:
- Incan Gold
- Ticket to Ride Europe
- Glory to Rome
- Age of Steam
- Antiquity (played halfway through, good but much longer than expected... Apologies again for my early departure)
- Say Anything
- Express

Hopefully I can get the full experience next year!

And see you all next at AGE/Cancon!? :smt006

Was a very impressive setup. I was also pleasantly surprised by the noise levels (or lack thereof).

I was only able to attend on Saturday (thanks again to Viranga for the lift) but managed to play:

Stone Age (1st out of 4)
*Dungeon Lords (3rd out of 4)
Stone Age (2nd out of 4)
Alhambra (3rd out of 3)
Alhambra (1st out of 3)
*Middle-Earth Quest (Don't ask)
Dominion (3 or 4 games, I won 1).

* Not played previously

Did anyone take any pictures?

Thank you Ben for navigating :-)

I only played four different games. I had only played Robo Rally in the past. The three new experiences addressed some past curiosities. So, I'm very happy I turned up.

Crokinole
- long dormant carrom skills arose. I like it, but it's way too expensive to purchase.
- I'm wondering if I can buy an appropriately patterned carrom board, and simulate crokinole. The pegs might be a problem.

Cyclades
- I like it, but this will have to wait in line behind other games that I want more.
- I'll have to find out how to paint miniatures. Albino mythological Greek creatures don't quite work for me.

Dominion
- it's better than I anticipated. I can see some of my friends liking it.
- it might also be a gateway game to magic.

I shall probably turn up to the longest day of the next ConVic.

I was only there Friday and half of Sat.
Pack and Stack
Brass
Antiquity
Pitchcar mini.

Can't stop thinking about antiquity. Great game. Hopefully get it under 3.5 hours next time.
