No EGF Sun Mar 7th as we will be supporting Boardgames & Diplomacy weekend March 6-8. Boardgaming for this event is both Sunday and Monday of long weekend 10:30am-8:00pm, with Diplomacy Saturday and Sunday.

I thought the boardgaming part was on at this event (fitzroy) on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Please confirm because I was intending to attend on the Saturday.

You are correct, I just naturally assumed that non diplomacy players would focus on Sunday and Monday giving others some air for their heavy international dealings. Early discussions on this had been about the Sunday and Monday with it appearing that Saturday has been included more recently. Hence I only mentioned specifically Sunday and Monday thereby ommitting Saturday. The more general details and the clickable link cover all three days. All my discussions with others have been focused on Sunday/Monday.

There is also the popular CHess allegro (15 minute per player) tournament running on the Saturday from 2-6 pm if anyone is interested, it is $10 for non-members (you might be able to wangle out of the extra $5 non members fee if you are paying a fee for the games & diplomacy).
