I'd never-before clicked on "view more smilies"... :smt024

:smt006

I'll be there! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Not playing Diplomacy :smt078 Sorry Tristan, this is my final word =;

I doubt that I'll be there full time- possibly Saturday afternoon, most of Sunday.
When are other "non-Dip" gamers going to attend? Who's coming? :smt068 :smt072

What's to play?

I have a brand-spanking-new copy of Macao that I'd like to try. After 1 play last weekend I want to get Lancaster vs York on the table again. :smt106
And if people are interested, I wouldn't mind some zombie-trash action with Last Night on Earth. :zombie:

Of course, I'll have Dominion and Power Grid with me too. 8)

And, um, given the venue... does anyone want to play Chess? :smt060

Campbell is keen for Imperial and/or Antike. :smt027
He's too slack to post here himself, though - how come I'm his social secretary..?

Speaking of Mac Gerdts' games, Erin wants to try Princes of Machu Pichu again, and I wouldn't say "No" either. But we've only played once and I doubt I can teach it. Does someone want to step into the breach? :smt117

Finally, there's been a whole lotta Agricola goin' on. If'n y'all don' mind ma down home peasant accent, I'd like some o' that there farmin' action. I promise to stop the accent while the game is being taught

Otherwise...

IF I get to play then I'm keen on Antike and Powergrid and Endeavor...
I know a few who would like to do Imperial and Age of Steam.
Feel free to organise games in advance.

The boardgamers who have been emailing me are generally arriving about 1030 on Sat and Sunday; some are coming on Monday as well.
There are a few ppl coming from out of town and Syd/Canb.

Lucky Woolworths is having a special on biscuits and chips and coffee!

The 'more smilies' are pretty good.

:smt070 :smt070 :smt070 :smt072 :smt072

I haven't really decided on my schedule. I normally try to make the chess allegro on Saturday arvo, not sure if I will play in this or a boardgame. I was thinking about doing the thousand steps walk in the morning but the forecast is for rain so I might get there earlier in the day.

Sunday I haven't decided, I probably won't spend a full day there but I can definately get a couple of games in.

Now that you have spent so much time investing in smiles, I'll pilfer your work and replicate it here does because I can and with the obvious citation of the source.

More to the point, all day Sunday for me. Just picked up EGF game collection as well which will deliver Saturday morning. Rest is up to Tristan.

I'll try to be there from around 2pm on Saturday & Sunday, and all day Monday, but I may have to leave early on Saturday.

We were talking @ Dockers last night about pre-arranging some games, like:

+ Starcraft
+ Warrior Knights
+ TI3
+ Mare Nostrum

I'd be up for any and all of those.

Maybe I'll bring Fortress America... :smt066

It’s good to pre-organise games. :smt026
But also, I will have a whiteboard where we can put up a list of ‘game openings’. Such as: “Dominion – 5 players – starts at 1pm. Players: John, Paul, 3 more to fill

This should help with organising games, even though the wkend is primarily free-form. And you can play something while waiting for another game to start. :smt067
Let's see how that works out... :smt004

These smilies are VERY bad. :smt117 I am very ashamed of myself.

Don't be ashamed! :smt087 Embrace the smilies

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon, maybe in the evening too, and Sunday. Dunno about Monday - it is supposed to be the first day back for the Monash club so I may head out there.

:suppr: Dinner on Saturday: any thoughts at this stage? :suppr:

Cheers all,

Rob
